Hi all.
I have just adopted a beautiful one year old female Bearded Dragon which I have named Nando. :P
She was at the front of her viv being very cute and I couldn't resist her.
She is quite small for her age and they said her growth may be a bit stunted because of her previous owners.
She's been in the shop for a few months and is now healthy and eating everything that moves.
She even took a wax worm from my fingers. I will try and post a picture tomorrow when she's settled in a bit.

Hi Mark.
She is extremely cute but very tiny. I will weigh her tomorrow.
She seems used to being handled and will sit quite happily on my hand.
She will even take food by hand which is a good sign.
Any ideas on how I can bulk her up safely as she doesn't seem to have very much in the way of fat reserves.

Lunar seems to be quite settled already in his new tank. He will have a lot more space to move around in now.

Hi Mark.
Managed to get her weight this morning right after she'd pooped all over me.
She weighs 249g. She is quite skinny and wrinkly looking at the moment but has quite long limbs.
I definitely think she needs a bit more weight on her especially if I want to breed her next year.
I've started her on pro-biotic powder and she has eaten a little today. 4 medium locust, 1 medium cricket and a wax worm.
She also helped herself to some red and green pepper, a small piece of apple and a couple of small peas from her dish(dusted with a little vitamin and calcium powder)
She has been very active, a lot of glass dancing and exploring her new tank. She seems happy and not a bit bothered about her new surroundings.
